Toys For Toddlers At Kohl's
This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I was paid for this post and received the included toys as compensation but all opinions are my own.
Toys, toys, and more toys! I love shopping for toys during the holidays and seeing my daughter’s face when she opens her presents. Shopping for a 2 year old for Christmas can be difficult at times, they can’t really tell you what they want or they want everything, haha!! So, I’m going to share some awesome toys that you can buy for your toddler from Kohl’s this holiday season!!
If you’ve been following me on Instagram since last Christmas then you might remember me sharing the great deals Kohl’s had last year on toys. I even let you guys vote between me getting a play kitchen or a ride on toy for Adora(you guys voted for the play kitchen which she still plays with daily)! This year, I want to share my top toy finds for toddlers from Kohl’s. They sale top toy brands like Fisher Price, Melissa and Doug, and Disney Princess!!
Fisher Price
Fisher Price has a lot of great toys you can choose from at Kohl’s! My first pick was the Little People Work Together Construction Site because I knew it would help Adora build her fine motor skills. This is a toy that helps kids into figuring out how a device works. Putting the boulders into the correct spot and pushing buttons to make the boulders fall and slide down the ramp. Adora loves this toy because she feels like she’s accomplishing a lot by pretending to do construction. Whenever a boulder falls into place, she jumps up and screams, “Yay! I did it!!” It’s the cutest sight ever! The Little People Work Together Construction Site also lights up and makes sounds, and the batteries are included.
Another Fisher Price toy I got is a Cash Register Set. I bought this in hopes that it will help her with recognizing and remembering her numbers since she can already count to 10. I think this would be awesome for her to pretend shopping and paying for items. Adora already loves to shop but she doesn’t comprehend the meaning of paying for something before we can open it yet, so this might help with that, haha! I’m actually saving this toy for Christmas so if you want to see Adora’s reaction when she sees this present then make sure you’re following me on my Instagram, @AdoreDonnie and remember to check out my instastories!!
Disney Princess
Who doesn’t love Disney toys?! I got is this cute, Light & Twist Wheelies Tower By Little People. This is a great toy for little girls who love to play with cars. It’s super easy to play with, all they have to do is release the lever and the car goes zooming down the tower which triggers lights and sounds. Adora can play with this for a long amount of time. I actually love seeing the car speed down the tower myself, haha!
The next Disney Princess toy I picked out is similar to the Little People Work Together Construction Site but it’s more of a doll house and instead of building fine motor skills this toy helps with building strong imaginations! It’s the Little People Disney Princess Magical Wand Palace, I know Adora will love this toy because it plays music and she can spin the Disney princesses around in the ballroom and it comes with a magical wand! She can also collect more Disney princesses to play with and they all have their own different tunes/sounds. This is another toy I’m saving until Christmas!
Melissa and Doug
I love buying Adora Melissa and Doug toys because they are awesome for pretend play, fine motor skills, and cognitive development! I had to get this Deluxe Pizza Oven & Pasta Play Set because Adora loves pretending to make food and eat it. This is her favorite toy right now, it can keep her busy for a long time. I love watching her create her delicious pizza and pasta! Surprisingly, she has not tore the pizza box or pasta boxes yet so the quality of the boxes are a little bit thicker than what I expected! The pastas are good quality as well, they’re made with polyester.
The few toys I got Adora from Kohl’s are Melissa and Doug puzzles! They have the best puzzles for kids but if you’re looking for big puzzles for your toddlers this is a great brand to buy them from. The reason why I love their puzzles is because they’re big enough for toddler’s tiny hands, sturdy so they won’t break easily, and they come with a back so you can put the pieces together on. I bought the Dinosaur Jigsaw Puzzles Box Set which comes with four, 12 piece puzzles and a box and a lid. Each puzzle has a shape on the back to help sort the puzzles out! The last puzzle I got is the Melissa and Doug African Plains Jigsaw Puzzle which is huge! I think we will have a great time putting these puzzles together come Christmas day!
Kohl’s is a great place to shop for toys because they have such a great selection to choose from. Other top toy brands they sell are LEGO and Hot Wheels, these are great brands for older kids! I love shopping at Kohl’s because they have Kohl’s Cash and Yes2Rewards so you can save a lot of money on items that are already on sale! You can get $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent!! For Yes2Rewards, you get 1 point for every $1 spent, when you earn 100 points you get $5! If you watch my Instagram stories, then you saw that I recently used $60 in Kohl’s Cash online and didn’t have to pay for shipping!! The key to not paying for shipping when shopping online is actually picking up your items for free in-store!
So don’t forget to utilize the free pick up in-store option during the holiday season!! Buy your items online but instead of selecting ship to me, select free in-store pickup if it’s available!! Even though Kohl’s ship items really fast, the free pick up option is a plus when it comes to wanting your items asap or not wanting to spend money on shipping when you’re using your Kohl’s Cash! Hopefully this post helps you score the best deals on toys for your children this holiday season!! Thanks for reading and ta-ta for now!
