One Year Old Building Memories With Family
When I was little I grew up around all my cousins! We always had a blast coming up with activities to do. Like making up choreography to hit songs like Bootylicious by Destiny's Child, trying to make brownies without all of the ingredients, or putting water on the kitchen floor so we could slip and slide. The latter wasn't so great because we would bust our butts on the floor. Haha. Let's just say I had a blast building memories with all my cousins and I want my daughter to do the same with her cousins!
Since Adora lives miles away from the rest of her family, it's exciting to see her bond with her cousins when she can. This past weekend we came to my hometown in South Carolina to celebrate my nephew, Quest's 1st birthday. But before the fun started, we had to head to Sam's Club to get food and utensils for the party. We love shopping at Sam's Club because the prices are great and they make shopping easy by having the option to shop online or in-store using the club pick-up or the scan & go options!
After we got the food in the cart, I decided to get diapers also since Adora was running out and Quest needed some diapers as well. Huggies has a great bundle offer at Sam's Club where you instantly save $10 when you buy any two diapers, wipes, and pants or save $18 when you buy a bundle of three! I have tried many diaper brands and Huggies has always been my favorite. Since they had such a great deal on diapers, I bought a box of diapers for Adora and another for Quest!
Once we got home, we decorated and set up for Quest's sports themed birthday party. We made sure they had a bunch of fun activities to do like playing soccer, jumping in the bouncy house, and we had a ball pit for the little babies. Adora loved jumping in the bouncy house and playing with the balls in the ball pit. She ran back and forth with her cousins between the two activities. After it got late and the party was over, they stayed up and watched cartoon movies while playing with Quest's new toys. It's safe to say that Adora had a blast at Quest's birthday party! This is the first of many memories she will build with her family!! Thanks for reading, ta-ta for now!
